2045 created SlamPay - the world’s tallest payment terminal. Where fans were encouraged to lift off to 10ft (the height of an official NBA ring) in order to checkout for free. The activation blurred the lines between fandom, technology and theatre - perfectly capturing the NBA’s entertainment DNA. Over one weekend, SlamPay drove 30k+ store visits, 6× higher sales year-on-year, and an 82% increase in average transaction value. Coverage spread across broadcast media and social, generating 11 million earned impressions and 650,000 social engagements.
